Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains which personal data we process when you visit this website, why we process it, and what rights you have. It applies to tca.wecode.swiss and not to any other website operated by the companies named below.

1. Who is responsible

Total Compensation Alliance is a joint offering of two independent Swiss companies. For this website, both act as joint controllers:

  • Compensation Governance Services AG — Industriestrasse 16, 6300 Zug, Switzerland — CHE-112.656.656 — contact@cgse.ch
  • [dialog]unlocked gmbh — Migelweg 5, 8855 Wangen SZ, Switzerland — CHE-413.836.441 — info@dialog-unlocked.ch

You may exercise your rights with either company; requests are handled jointly. The single point of contact for data protection matters relating to this website is contact@totalcompensationalliance.com.

2. Applicable law

We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where its territorial scope applies, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. What data we process

3.1 Server log files

Each time a page is requested, our hosting infrastructure automatically records the technical data your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, the page or file requested, the referring page, the browser type and version, and the operating system. These entries are needed to deliver the website, keep it stable and secure, and investigate technical faults or attacks. They are not combined with other data and are not used to identify you.

Legal basis: our overriding legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website (Art. 31 FADP; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3.2 Contact form and email

Our contact form asks for your name, your email address and your message; company name, telephone number and subject are optional. What you enter is sent to us by email — it is not stored in the website’s database. We use it solely to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare or perform a mandate.

Legal basis: the data you provide voluntarily, our legitimate interest in responding, and steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 31 FADP; Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

3.3 Cookies

This website uses only functional cookies: those needed to display the site correctly, to remember your language, and to record your cookie choices. It sets no analytics, advertising or social media cookies. Our Cookie Policy lists each cookie, its purpose and its lifetime.

We carry out no profiling and no automated individual decision-making.

4. Recipients and processors

  • Hosting — Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva, Switzerland, whose infrastructure hosts the website, administered by our technical service provider WECODE.
  • Email — the email providers of the two companies, used to receive and answer your messages.

These providers act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations. We do not sell your personal data and do not disclose it to third parties for their own purposes. We may disclose data to authorities where the law requires it.

5. Transfers abroad

Data processed through this website is stored in Switzerland. Operating this website involves no transfer of personal data abroad. Where the GDPR applies to you: Switzerland is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission. Should we ever need to transfer data to a country without an adequate level of protection, we would do so on the basis of appropriate safeguards, in particular the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep data

  • Server log files — kept for a short period only, as a rule no longer than six months, then deleted.
  • Contact enquiries — kept for as long as needed to handle them and to maintain the resulting business relationship, then in line with statutory retention obligations (in Switzerland, up to ten years for business correspondence).
  • Cookie consent — your choice is stored in your browser for up to 365 days; you can withdraw it at any time.

7. Security

This website is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS). We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be entirely secure, and we cannot warrant absolute security.

8. Your rights

Subject to the conditions and limits of the applicable law, you have the right to:

  • obtain information about the personal data we process about you, and a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate data corrected and have data deleted;
  • obtain restriction of processing, or object to processing based on a legitimate interest;
  • receive the data you provided in a structured, commonly used format, or have it transmitted to another controller;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

To exercise these rights, write to contact@totalcompensationalliance.com. We may ask you for proof of identity before we act on a request.

9. Supervisory authority

If you believe the processing of your data breaches data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, Switzerland. Where the GDPR applies to you, you may also contact the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

10. Changes to this policy

We may amend this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the website or to the law. The version published on this page is the one in force.

Last updated: 7 September 2026.
